When COVID-19 broke out in Europe at the beginning of 2020, I was staying in Prague. During the lockdown and self-isolation, many events and activities were changed to online, and the way to get information pretty much relied on various online media platforms. When browsing, wandering, and shuttling between connections and links on the internet, I felt my perception has gradually retreated from the body to the eyes, fingers, and brain, as if falling into a situation where one cannot reach the edge in the entity container.
During the 14 days of this online residency, I used the existing daily objects in my room to make still-life photography and collages, to portray this perception experience of exchanging boundaries between the real and virtual worlds.
